Mark Temple established Ash Green Organic Foods in 1994 from a personal desire to eat organic foods on a regular basis. With little or no provision available at the time Mark decided to source the produce for himself and sell it to like minded people in the village of New Ash Green in Kent. After only managing to find one regular customer (his brother) he decided to take the concept further a-field. London was the obvious choice where the markets complemented the food. Nature took its course and Ash Green Organic Foods began to grow!

Mark takes a hands-on approach to the management of the business and is always on hand at one of the stalls for advice and tips on how to best use the more exotic fruits and vegetables. His knowledge of global, seasonal harvests is second to none and is what sets us apart from other traders and retailers within the organic foods market place.
