Seasonal Produce

Throughout the year a range of seasonal produce becomes available. Whether harvested from our own orchards or from our friends, local farmers of fruits and vegetables, we will keep you updated as to what will be available in the forthcoming month(s).

January-February 2012
As the apple season approaches the final stretch organic Spartan, Crispin, Melrose, Gala and Bramley Apples continue to appear from our cold store!  The depths of winter herald a warming apple crumble; Bramleys always best but the alternative eaters make an interesting alternative and require less over roasting!  Sevilla and Blood Oranges are already in full swing.

Mushrooms!!!
Ash Green Organics is pleased to announce that from January 2012 we will be stocking a variety of mushrooms from our new supplier Fundamentally Fungus.  With 7 organic fungi in the range we will be supplying two of the organic range each week from our market stalls in London.  You can expect to see a rotation of Shiitake, Oyster (3 varieties/colours), Shimeji, Enoki and more.  For information, recipes and more visit: fundamentallyfungus.com

Organic Bananas always available at the extremely competitive price of £1.40 per kilo.  Occasionally available, slightly over-ripe bananas at half-price!
